Reminder-

Next Thursday (October 30) is Literacy Night at McKinney!  As 6th Graders, we are responsible for creating a reading chair.  Not just any reading chair- but a reading chair to amaze people, to draw them in, make them sit, and get them to read!

What you need to bring ASAP:
Bring in materials to decorate our chair!  We need ribbons, sticks, wrapping paper, glitter, cardboard, tinsel, pipe cleaners, cotton balls, and any other art or craft supplies-  you name it, we need it!

What you need to do:
Over the next week, devote some of your hard earned recess to building a Chair to end all Chairs!  (If you want to... it's a volunteer opportunity only for the most awesome of chair-building enthusiasts.)

What else you need to do:
Choose something to read in our fantastic reading chair next Thursday, and... COME TO LITERACY NIGHT!!!
