Some things we've been working on lately:
- Designing an alien planet that includes land forms and a system of latitude and longitude
- Reading Esperanza Rising and learning more about the Braceros Movement and the National Farmworkers Association
- Building a boat... yes, a boat!
- Exploring ways to communicate data (charts and graphs)
- Manipulating area and perimeter of shapes
- Learning about the water cycle
